Village Hospital
Focused on providing care to you and your family, the Village Hospital brings a new approach to health care. Comprised of emergency services, medical and surgical care, the Village Hospital is a 48-bed facility located at Westmoreland Road and Highway 14 in Greer.
The Village Hospital consists of 48 inpatient rooms and includes four intensive care rooms and areas with telemetry for monitoring cardiac patients. The facility also has four state-of-the-art operating suites and an emergency department with 11 rooms.

Emergency Department
Located on the first level, the Emergency Department includes patient care areas that are specifically designed to care for trauma, orthopedic, bariatric, pediatric and female patients, and patients in need of close observation. Through the electronic physician order entry and documentation system, the staff can provide the community with the most comprehensive, efficient, patient-focused emergency care.
Surgery
Surgery is located on the second level and includes pre- and post-operative beds, a minor procedure room and isolation room with family waiting area. The operating rooms contain state-of-the-art Steris®/Stryker® integration. A television in the waiting area is equipped with patient-locating software that assigns each patient a code by which family members can track the patient’s progress throughout the procedure.
Medical, Surgical and Intensive Care
The third and fourth floors of the building are comprised of areas that provide care for medical, surgical and intensive care patients.
Patient-focused Care
Convenience for patient and visitors carries over into each patient room. Within each patient room are several features designed to maximize functional efficiency and effectiveness for the patient care team without disturbing the patient. With its many distinctive characteristics, the national award-winning room design was created by Clemson University’s School of Architecture + Health – one of only two healthcare architectural specialty programs in the United States.
The private rooms are larger than traditional rooms and are made up of three distinct room zones for patient, family and staff. Each room features GetWellNetwork®, an interactive system that provides patients and their families access to patient education, on-demand movies, games and the Internet.
